In 1971, while serving in the United States Marine Corps in South Vietnam, Tim Lee gave both of his legs to America. Instead of quitting or becoming bitter, God used this major event in Tim’s life to propel him into a ministry that no one could have imagined at that time.
jerry thorpe ministries
Rev. Curtis Thorpe, the father of Rev. Jerry Thorpe, pastored Temple Baptist Church for thirty-eight years. Jerry co-pastored the church with him for twenty years, beginning November 1, 1964. In the Fall of 1984, Jerry assumed the position of Senior Pastor of the church. He retired as Senior Pastor in November of 2000. He travels about forty-five Sundays a year speaking at churches.
